Material Testing Lab
Material Testing Laboratory CTTI (FWO) formerly known as Geo tech lab FWO (Chaklala) was established during the construction of Karakorum Highway (KKH). After completion of KKH, the lab was shifted to Chaklala, Rawalpindi. This Lab is one of the oldest Material Testing Labs in Pakistan. Material Testing Laboratory is functioning with professional skill and commitment and offers testing services of different construction materials like Soil, Aggregate, and Cement, Concrete, Bricks/Blocks, Bitumen, Asphalt and steel. We assure the accuracy, reliability and credibility of our results.

Final Year Projects

Electric Fork Lifter
Forklift is a small industrial vehicle, having a power operated forked platform attached at the front that can be raised and lowered for insertion under a cargo to lift or move it. Forklifts serve the needs of various industries including warehouses and other large storage facilities. Forklifts are powered by electric battery or combustion engines. Some Forklifts allow the operators to sit while driving and operating the machine while others require the operator to stand. It is being extensively used throughout the industry for transporting materials and goods.

Hydro Static Transmission (HST)
The number of hydrostatic transmission (HST) applications in the construction machinery field has increased considerably in the past few years. A hydrostatic transmission consists of a hydraulic pump and one or more hydraulic motors driven by the oil discharged by the pump. The components may be gear, vane or piston equipment or a combination of each. The circuit may be either an open or closed loop. Hydraulic fluid is the lifeblood of an HST machine. Much like the human circulatory system, the HST machine depends on hydraulic fluid to transmit power, lubricate, and cool its vital components. HST machines often use a flushing circuit, which takes excess oil back to the reservoir tank where it can be cooled, filtered, and re-used.

De-Porter
It’s a mechatronic device which eases the work for human and people can control it remotely to take multiple tasks through it. As it’ll fulfill the demand of market transportation which could be prove beneficial in such a pandemic outbreak. “De-Porter” is a multifunctional robot car based on the ARDUINO-UNO and L298N motor. Compared with the traditional car, “De-Porter” is also equipped with wireless control (Bluetooth); ultrasonic; infrared; esp32 camera. It can trace and avoid obstacles automatically, of course, makers can also automatically control the car with wireless and make full use of each module, as well as integrate all kinds of related sensors to make the car more intelligent, which is more challenging.

Stair Climbing Trolley
The phenomenon of designing and manufacturing of an electrically operated trolleys have been around since very long. Such trolleys are being used in many industries. Demand for such trolleys are rapidly increasing as the modernization of industries requires use of more efficient and easy to operate machineries. In this proposed design, we have designed a trolley that can be used to move things on flat surfaces as well as stairs and other irregular surfaces without the need for the user to apply extreme forces. The stair climbing trolley consists of tri wheels at the one end and two tri wheels at the other end and they all are connected with the motor which is powered by the battery and Controlling and data processing is done through the Arduino Nano board, all the H-Bridge are connected to Arduino. Here all the motors are powered using a battery. The Stair climbing trolley is controlled by a mobile app which is created by a MIT App inventor.

Electric Bike
The Bike is basically design to terminate the noise and smoke pollution. The bike has low operating cost along with the same output as other bikes. It offers less weight and easy drive with in extremely low budget. Since these run on battery power, you’re not releasing harmful emissions from fossil fuels each day during your commute. They will reduce you carbon footprint and reduce pollution. One of the reasons I am such a fan of bike commuting is because of the benefits it provides to our environment.
